Pragmata is a game that I was worried a bit about how the game played when I picked it up. The hacking looked like the kind of friction that would drive me up the wall. I was happy to find that, though annoying, it really didn't spoil the combat experience. The game uses it to create stress in combat, but not in an overwhelming way. I didn't cheer when I finished hacking something, I would just move on to continue the fight. And that is ok here. The story telling lands the feel goods solidly like a condensed version of God of War 4. Stages were rewarding to explore and were slightly more complicated than a linear layout most of the time. The game is pretty short, but for this game I liked that.
